Hey everyone!!! I hope all is going well... I spoke with Lori this past week and what we are going to try and do is get a group together to book. When you book as a group it gives you rooms that are as close as possible to each other as well as a $50 on board credit as oppose to the normal $25.
The only thing is that we need to get eight staterooms (it doesn't matter if they are the same party or not) booked within 30 days of each other. Hopefully I will have the save the dates by the end of next week ready and almost all out. Once I have sent the save the dates we are going to wait ten days and then start the group 30 day period for people to book into.
Another thing that I wanted to bring to everyones attention is that we are schedules to eat at the second dining due to the time of the ceremony on the second day. It is a little late for any younger children however we can utilize the kids dine and play option for the little ones as well as Pluto's Pizza and snacks. The ship is full of food at all times so I know we will not go hungry.
I just wanted to give everyone an idea of what is going on. I hope all is well. Miss you all and cant wait for 10-10-2010!

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to stop by and say hi! The big day is Six months away!!! Nothing big is going on. I just wanted to touch base with everyone and just let everyone know what the plans around the cruise are looking like. In order to get the transfers to and from the cruise ship you need to have a flight that is either arriving the day before the cruise or by 1230 pm on the 10th or October, or you need to stay the night of the 9th or October at a Disney resort Any flights that do not arrive by 1230 are not garented to get to the ship on time.
What we will be doing is getting a room at Disney's Old Key West Resort on the night of the 9th so that we are all on property and can start the party! We are going to cook out at one of the pools on the night of the ninth so we can all get together and have a good time. For anyone who is looking to come in the night of the ninth or earlier please get in touch with me and I can see what kind of rates we can get. Clayton and I are both Cast Members so we can get discounts on rooms.
After the cruise I know a few people are looking to stay as well so if you are interested in that please contact Clayton or I as well.
